Please come on my elephant ride!

I am doing my little happy dance and eager to share the good news. I just submitted my first blog post to the wonderful, wildly popular elephantjournal.com. It’s a reader-created open forum bringing together people like us who work & play to create an enlightened society.

Elephant has more than 100,000 likes on Facebook and presents the possibility of a whole new league for my work. My post was accepted, published and has been seen by 165 people as I write. Sounds great, right? But the deal is I’ll need 1000 views for them to feature a story.”

That’s a long shot for sure but, hey, since this is exactly the opportunity I’ve been waiting for, why not give it a shot? Here’s my simple request:  Support me by following this link :

If you want to, read the post and, better yet, comment. I’d be thrilled! But no need.

To help me maximize this moment, really all you need to do is click the link.

Though it will be new for some of you, those who have been with me for a while will recognize this first elephant post. That’s because another great thing about elephant is they encourage us writers to repost blogs from our own sites, to get wider readership for our hard work. So rather than draft a new post, I chose one you all seemed to like.

If you want to offer me extra special, super-duper support—and leave me trembling in my boots with gratitude—how about you post the elephant link on your Facebook page and, while we’re asking for what we want, why not email my link with a note to special friends you think might take inspiration!  If I can return the favor, be sure to let me know. You guys (okay, mostly gals) are awesome!

Congratulations Suzanne! Really happy for you and enjoy the ride! :)

Thank you for your good wishes, dear Shannon. Your tangible, always enthusiastic support of me and my work has been — and continues to be — absolutely critical in helping me get the word(s) out. Bless you for that!
